Sun Capital Partners, Inc. is a leading private investment firm focused on leveraged buyouts, equity, debt, and other investments in market-leading companies that can benefit from its in-house operating professionals and experience. Sun Capital affiliates invest in companies which typically have the number one or two market position in their industry, long-term competitive advantages, and significant barriers to entry. Sun Capital affiliates have invested in more than 290 companies worldwide since Sun Capital’s inception in 1995, with combined sales in excess of $45 billion and more than 200,000 employees. Industries targeted for investment are broad and diverse, with no particular industry excluded from consideration. Investments have included companies in paper and packaging, food and beverages, metals and mining, automotive parts, consumer products, financial services, healthcare, media and communications, building products, telecommunications, technology, retailing and e-commerce, restaurants, manufacturing and industrial, among others.

Sun Capital has approximately $8 billion of capital under management. Sun Capital often bridges the entire purchase price at closing, raising permanent debt financing afterwards.

Sun Capital targets companies with up to $5 billion or more of revenues, but many of our transactions are with businesses with sales between $50 million and $500 million. Sun Capital's unique ability to close deals without external financing, staff of approximately 165 people, and a decisive approach to business enables us to close deals within 30 days compared to 3 to 6 months for most other buyers.
